COSAS publishes South African BEACON, a quarterly newsletter, to counter the misinformation and lack of information in the Western media about Africa and to promote sustainable development encompassed in the Freedom Charter and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

We seek contributing writers, journalists and would-be journalists, editors, desk-top designers, photographers, printers, and others who can aid in the production of our newsletter.

This Ubuntu Guide features businesses, faith congregations and organizations who have joined with COSAS, recognizing that in these challenging times, it is more urgent than ever to organize from the bottom up, building people-to-people international solidarity between the people of the American and African continents, united in our common goals of ending poverty and building a sustainable world, where all can live with dignity and in a healthy environment.
